It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Brian Peters, our former Service Manager, who has passed away after battling a long term illness.

Originally with Mortimers, Brian joined Illig when Illig Gmbh set up Illig UK Ltd in 1983 and was the Service manager until he retired at 65, a career spanning 44 years.

In remembrance, Senior Service Engineer, Sean McCoy said:

When I started at Illig UK in 1995, Brian guided me in all aspects of life as a service engineer and we had many good times as we travelled along that path, especially with past members Terry Peters and Geoff Trott.

Mic Dring, Current Service Manager, added;

Brian employed me as a service engineer and taught me so much in the time he was my manager.

He was also my friend and we shared many a good time at home and abroad. I still tell the story of our experience with, Triple tonguing Simon at a Paignton seafront hotel.

I will miss you my Friend.

At this most difficult time everyone past and present from Illig UK would like to pass on our deepest sympathies.  Our thoughts go out to Sylvia and the family who he loved dearly.
